Located in Ham Tin, Tai Long Wan, the subject site falls within the "Village Type Development" zone on the Approved Tai Long Wan Outline Zoning Plan, where "House" use requires planning permission from the Town Planning Board. KJL was the leading consultant to prepare and submit a section 16 planning application for the development scheme of five proposed New Territories Exempted Houses (NTEH), which harmonise with the existing houses and respect the current village setting and pattern. The Town Planning Board application approved the application with conditions in January 2017. KJL was further engaged in February 2017 to comply with the approval conditions, including the required archaeological investigation on sites. All approval conditions were considered by Plan D to have been compled by 2018.
